Harold Budd & Cocteau Twins - The Moon & The Melodies (1986)

maybez i'll write a description later? word. Harold Budd, very well known ambient artist akin to brian eno and the Cocteau Twins (favorite) tried to collab on an album..and it's the general consensus that they failed trying to achieve that much. however what we were left with were a few good songs by the CTwins with Budd influence and a few good songs by Budd with CTwin influence. so it all works out. love the cocteau twins so much. love that jesu was born out of them. wish someone could just get ONE picture of Robin Guthrie's pedal board hah - http://www.mediafire.com/?gmdmkewq0ty

Starts off with short droney pieces and then continues on
with some vocal pieces and throws in some beats for good measure. 

Reminds me of those days when i was younger 

and the days felt so long and strange, warm and confusing. Sounds a bit like Run DMT.

Jefre Cantu-Ledesma-Love is a Stream

Jefre Cantu-Ledesma is the head of the Root Strata label. He has played with Tarentel and The Alps. This album sounds like "To Here Knows When" mixed with Tim Hecker which is stupid but thats what it is. There is many many triumphant sounds buried in here. It's a good album to listen to when your brain has been blasted by a long night stoned silly and this girl wont talk to you either. Gorgeous drones, shimmering like metal clouds over a steel town when everyone is going to sleep. I dont know what that means. Listen to this album.

Had trouble deciding which song to put up..they all have this folky string feel but some get tribal some get ambient i thin one is just an capella for a minute or so one or two has nostalgic 80's infomercial documentary synth build ups. man i don't know.
